Treeverse – The MMO You’ll Love to Grind (Once You Find the Quest Giver) | Community Tested

Introduction

This week, our Discord community took on Treeverse, a cross-platform MMORPG set in the world of Arboros. With dungeon crawling, resource gathering, crafting, and real-time multiplayer action, the game promises a vibrant world for adventurers. Players explored solo or teamed up to slay monsters, craft powerful gear, and climb the power ladder toward the World Tree.

Was it fun? What worked, what didn’t, and would players recommend it? Here’s what the community had to say.

How much did players actually play?

  • 4+ Hours – 17 players

  • 2-4 Hours – 13 players

  • 1-2 Hours – 9 players

The majority of players pushed deep into Arboros, showing strong engagement from core MMORPG fans.

Did players recommend the game to friends?

  • Yes – 33 players

  • No – 6 players

That’s an impressive word-of-mouth recommendation rate. Even those with criticisms noted the game’s potential, community play, and long-term value.

Were players motivated by questing and rewards?

  • Yes – 28 players

  • No – 11 players

While most felt incentivized to grind, some cited missing mission indicators or story guidance, which made leveling less directed.

"Just add a mission icon so it's easy to level up" "Game needs more tutorial"

Gameplay Breakdown

Ease of Access (Avg Score: 8.3)

Players appreciated the onboarding for the most part, but some noted struggles with navigation and a lack of direction for newer players.

"The game is hard at first but the longer you play, the more fun it becomes."

Controls (Avg Score: 8.4)

While highly rated by many, mobile controls in particular got mixed feedback. A few players had issues with responsiveness and controller support.

"Controls were lacking... controller looked like an option but only partially worked.

Graphics (Avg Score: 8.3)

Visuals were described as solid but not universally loved. Players praised the art style, while a few cited performance issues.

"Graphics could be optimized for mobile."

Core Game Loop (Avg Score: 8.2)

Grinding dungeons, crafting gear, and gearing up for bosses created an addictive gameplay loop.

"This is the best-case scenario game I like to play." "Progression is good, dungeon variations are nice, but endgame comes too fast."

Story (Avg Score: 7.3)

Narrative and guidance were frequently mentioned as weak spots. The absence of a clear campaign was a barrier for many.

"The campaign/story was lacking... no idea where to go."

Equipment & Infusion Variations (Avg Score: 8.4)

Players loved crafting and collecting gear, with infusion systems and map-specific weapons keeping things fresh.

"Upgrade equipment and rarities too – game has potential to be one of the best."

Final Thoughts

Treeverse managed to capture a lot of what MMORPG lovers enjoy – dungeons, loot, multiplayer synergy, and progression. While the game still needs polish, especially in terms of story guidance, control responsiveness, and server stability, the core gameplay loop, gear variety, and party-based fun kept most players hooked.

If you love grinding dungeons with friends, Treeverse might just be your next gaming obsession. But if you're looking for a guided narrative and smooth performance on all platforms, it might not be quite there yet.

Today we game.
